I am a free spirit, writer, videographer, and seeker.
For 34 years I partnered with Arthur Hancock on a journey of meaning. We wrote three books and have a YouTube channel where you can watch us perform 90 songs written by Arthur. To learn more about me, read my blog or watch Arthur and I talk about various topics on our A Question of Meaning TV show (52 episodes). Arthur and I co-wrote The Game of God: Recovering Your True Identity, which was published in 1993. Oprah called it a "great book about God," and Tim Allen said, "If you really have your shit together, read The Game of God." In 2014 we published a revised edition, which is available as both an ebook (Kindle and epub) and paperback. Read the introduction and first chapter. In 2014 I published We Are ALL Innocent by Reason of Insanity: The Mechanics of Compassion. This is published under my name, but Arthur and I developed the philosophy together. Available at Amazon.com (print and Kindle) and Smashwords.com (all ebook formats). Read the first four chapters for free. Also in 2014 Arthur published a memoir, Exposing Myself, in which he describes the development of our philosophy in the context of his very interesting life. Arthur died in February of 2015. I am also a videographer. My production company is called Time Capsule Video. Arthur and I started the company in 1996, producing nature videos of the western North Carolina mountains. You can see samples of our work on our Time Capsule Video website. Currently I am living in San Juan del Sur Nicaragua and you can see some of the videos I have made about Nicaraguan life both at the TCV website and on the Time Capsule Video YouTube channel. From June of 2004 until December 2009 Arthur and I produced a weekly television show about Highlands North Carolina called “Heart of the High Country” -- 200 shows in all. To see programs from the show: HighlandsNCTV YouTube channel. In my free time I love to weave, do shibori, hike, and discuss philosophy with friends. |
